An ornate wood chest is opened to reveal a row of six different colored blocks. The blocks each have a hole in the center and can be trapped inside the box by sliding a metal rod through the center. The blocks are spilled from the box and a spectator is asked to pick any two blocks. The magician picks up the blocks and puts two on each end and the selected blocks in the center. The chest is closed and the blocks can be seen through holes in the top of the chest. The steel rod is pushed through the end of the box trapping all the blocks inside. A spectator holds each side of the rod. The magician tips the box forward and opens the top. Two blocks fall from the box - the spectators selected blocks! The other four blocks are still clearly trapped inside. Beautifully made wood chest.
